What Is THC?

THC or tetrahydrocannabinol is the psychoactive cannabinoid found in both the hemp and marijuana plant. In order to be federally compliant, all hemp plants must be at 0.3% in THC. This is why full spectrum (containing all the cannabinoids) CBD oil won’t get you high. However, since full spectrum CBD oil contains THC, even such a low amount, it can cause someone to fail a drug test. THC builds up in our system, because technically it isn’t a drug or poison that our body immediately gets rid of. It actually uses THC for a multitude of biological reasons.
