First Baptist Church of Middletown

The First Baptist Church celebrated it’s 100th anniversary in 2020!  Our church motto is “A Church Without Walls.”  It’s our way of saying that we are open to our neighbors and have worked to tear down the walls of separation in our community.  We are committed to full participation in Middletown’s social and civic life and we invite all people to join us for worship and community service.

The Blessings Box is open 24/7 to help folks who are a little short on groceries.  The box is located just off of Main Street on the corner of the playground.  The box says, “Take what you need, leave what you can.”  Many people donate items to the box and everything that is donated is useful to someone.  We encourage you to donate or to receive!

The pastor and staff are available for counsel and prayer anytime.  You may call or text the pastor, Dr. Jim Cobban, at 502-744-7889.  The church office is open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. –  5 p.m.

Celebration Hall, 11711 Main Street, is also available for group rental by calling the office at 502-245-7889.

For more information on worship times and church identity, please visit our website at www.fbcmtown.org.

Harbor House of Louisville

At Harbor House, our vision for the future is formed by the needs and dreams of the participants and families we serve. The founding parents of Harbor House envisioned an organization that would provide their sons and daughters with challenging, enjoyable and productive work. In the same way, the current Harbor House leadership seeks to provide a growing array of support and services that will ensure participants have appropriate choices for self-fulfillment while making a meaningful contribution to society.

In implementing our mission of enhancing the lives of people with disabilities through employment, self-determination, education and community building opportunities, we are continuously leveraging limited resources in new and creative ways while staying at the forefront of positive trends.
