First Baptist Church of Middletown

The First Baptist Church celebrated it’s 100th anniversary in 2020!  Our church motto is “A Church Without Walls.”  It’s our way of saying that we are open to our neighbors and have worked to tear down the walls of separation in our community.  We are committed to full participation in Middletown’s social and civic life and we invite all people to join us for worship and community service.

The Blessings Box is open 24/7 to help folks who are a little short on groceries.  The box is located just off of Main Street on the corner of the playground.  The box says, “Take what you need, leave what you can.”  Many people donate items to the box and everything that is donated is useful to someone.  We encourage you to donate or to receive!

The pastor and staff are available for counsel and prayer anytime.  You may call or text the pastor, Dr. Jim Cobban, at 502-744-7889.  The church office is open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. –  5 p.m.

Celebration Hall, 11711 Main Street, is also available for group rental by calling the office at 502-245-7889.

Critically Loved, Inc.

Critically Loved is a nonprofit providing support to families of chronically and critically ill children. Founded in 2015 by our Executive Director, TyiaLynn, whose daughter is diagnosed with life threatening internal bleeding; the need for special needs families to receive support became very evident as she struggled to manage her daughter’s health. By partnering with 47 pediatric health providers and other nonprofits, Critically Loved helps families navigate a difficult road. We provide support:

PRACTICALLY- With guidance relating to school, medical bills, and health insurance

EMOTIONALLY – Through our Parent Match Program, with professional counseling, and at events to help connect families to one another

SPIRITUALLY – By offering group support at local churches
